A tour of Oscarshall

The tour takes the visitors through the most important rooms of Oscarshall.

On the ground floor, we find the vestibule with its almost sacral atmosphere. In the Salon, both the furniture and the ornamentation emphasise the medieval atmosphere, and evoke the style of the old Norwegian guildhall. The Dining hall is deocorated by the Norwegian painters Joachim Frich and Adolph Tidemand.

The Dining Hall at Oscarshall is in a separate annexe, connected to the main building by an open loggia. The walls of the Dining Hall are decorated with paintings by the Norwegian artists Joachim Frich and Adolph Tidemand.

The tour also includes the 1st and 2nd floors, where we find the King's appartment, the Queen's appartment and the Prince's room.

We encourage visitors to take a walk in the park after the tour.
