I was deeply saddened to learn of the recent earthquake that caused such widespread destruction and claimed so many lives.
On behalf of myself and the people of Norway, I send you my deepfelt condolences and ask you to convey my condolences and my sympathy to those bereaved, to those otherwise afflicted by this terrible natural disaster, and to the people of the Republic of Indonesia.

Markerte frivillighetens dag
Hans Kongelige Høyhet Kronprinsen var i kveld til stede ved markeringen av den internasjonale Frivillighetsdagen på Sentralen i Oslo. Under markeringen ble det delt ut flere priser til personer som har viet mye av sin tid til frivillig arbeid.
